Hi,

I am looking into opening a new store in the town centre, catering for travel clothing and accessories market. It would be stocking brands such as Rohan and Eagle Creek. I am aware there is a large Blacks and Millets, however the focus is more on functional high quality brands, and on clothing for different climates as opposed to the more sportier gear. Does anyone feel there is a demand for brands such as Rohan in Shrewsbury?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I was a Finance Broker employed fourteen people a few years ago,even won a national award for creating sustained jobs for people with disabilities,was very profitable up until about 2006.
I wish anyone well starting a venture but running premises is a cash drain so is employing staff these days,get a good one fine get a bad one it is very hard to get rid plus all of the statutary entitlements.
Mardol could certainly do with some new enterprise but to be honest if it were me I would look at an EBAY shop or a good web site witch could be a lot cheaper to run slash overheads and make you more competitive with less overheads,plus of course give you a world wide presence.
