Where is Cockerhoop brewed??,know the White Lion, have not been there for years.Welligton seems to have survived the 'Telford' invasion and long may it do so.

If in doubt google Clic Here

I thought Wellington was part of the town of Telford?

My God! You'll be telling us that Bayston Hill is a part of Shrewsbury, next! :D ;)

Wellington, although in the area of Telford new town is still very much a town in its own right.

It is brewed in Cumbria, though the brewery was damaged in the floods, so it was brewed at the Marston Brewery until they could clear the brewery up.

As I saw it Wellington is part of an amalgamation of towns brought together to form the new town of Telford. Wellington may try to still be a town in its own right just like Oakengates, Ketley, Madeley, Hadeley, Ironbridge and Dorrington they are still all under the umbrella of a town called Telford according to the origional planning idea :D

Your sarcasm is very upsetting. There is at least one field between Bayston Hill and Meole, so in the sight of God, it's really a distant suburb of Church Stretton. There's only the odd grudging mention of their new Salopian overlords on the Wikipedia page for the village..

And, as well as the mighty Bayston Hill Villager, they've got Mary Webb and the wet vet. How can Shrewsbury compete with that?

Quite clearly it cannot. ;)

I like Bayston Hill. In the early 1980s I had a girlfriend from Bayston Hill. Ah! The memories that flood back!
