Hi everyone, just thought I would Introduce myself being new to Shrewsbury Forum .co.uk

Seems like a good site with lots going on.

Welcome driver 67. You will find it a bit stop and start I'm afraid!

BTW PS I saw the development you referred to and the windows are bay not bow. Bow windows are the Dickens Curiosity Shop sort.

Although the development had great eco credentials I was not impressed with the design, that bulky stone effect classical feature with cornicing plonked in front of a wood clad building is all wrong. Reminescent of Shrewsbury Theatre with it's stone cladding mixed with oak cladding.
The colours I thought were pretty naff too, pink and blue!
Why did the gas meters have to be so prominent by the front doors?

It was not a patch on the smart contemporary development at Ketley but much better than the ghastly pic n mix of period detailing at Lawley,s Clovermead development.

Hi driver67. It's all gone a bit quiet in here recently, but it should liven up a bit more in the spring, when there should be more photos coming.

Hello Driver 67. Welcome to the intermittent forum. Well looked at by some, well used by the regular crew. A sleepy Shropshire place!
