How did it feel yesterday you Shrews? ;)

Football. -_- Think this thread should be moved to the sports section...

What's important is that Shrewsbury Town get promoted to League One. The town and club are big enough - and we have been so close twice now (play-off finals at Wembley) in the last three years! Currently Town are 7th in the league... it'll probably be a close shave into the play-offs again this year, after which it's anyone's guess!

After a third loss in a row I will gladly take the play-offs.

I know I asked this a few years back, but where do they need to be to make the playoffs? Top 8 or 10?

The top 2 get promoted, champions and runner-up then the next 4 fight it out for third promotion spot so Town need to finish in the top 6. The way they are playing i dont think thats going to happen....again.

Erm, no, in League Two it's top 3 are automatically promoted and positions 4-7 are the playoffs!

So, for the moment the Shrews are on the outside looking in. It seems they have hit the skids the last couple of weeks.

Yes but with 36 points to play for,it's not over until the fat lady sings.

(she has already cleared her throat though ;) )
