I'm very fond of the twinkling Christmas trees that are put up around town this time of year. My own particular favourite tree is the one attached to The Crescent, seen while walking down Belmont (me that is, not the tree).
But I noticed a problem last night. Lights on one of the trees next to the Music Hall, and one of the trees in Shoplatch, are not twinkling, but flashing. The tastefully understated festive effect is completely ruined. This is an outrage. How many more flashing trees could there be out there?
I've not seen any flashers yet, although I've not been into town for a while.
I have though already seen a few houses with decorations up.
Its November the 19th, why so early????
I have seen both Flashers and Twinklers in Shrewsbury. I must admit I'm not the flasher type :D
