Please correct me if I am wrong but the cynical in me thinks that this result may have been a crafty move to prevent the application being 'called in' as the Tesco application was. If it just goes to appeal now I don't think it will take as long. <_<
The reasons given for rejecting the scheme look rather weak if it goes to appeal. What does Proud Salopian think?
I thought the reasons for the planners supporting it looked very weak to be honest but decisions are not based on policy or common sense they are manipulated by politics.
