Title: Quantum Leap

What on earth is that pile of junk that that is going to be dumped in Mardol Quay Gardens in the near future at the cost of £210,000 paid by the tax payer? I think its an absolute disgrace to expect tax payers to cough up once again. The only thing going for it is that it matches the new theatre on the opposite side of the river which looks to me as if it was built from left overs ie wood, breeze blocks and glass.
Can anyone tell me who sanctioned this monstrocity?

the same ridiculous council that sanctioned a new sign for the theater with the current design for the council when within 3 months it will have a new name and logo so will be wasting £5000 or so of our money on a new logo for aqbout 3 months!!!
this was one of the most ridiculous wastes of taxpayers money throughout the country in an article in the telegraph i think!!!
so it isnt surprising really is it that they plan to waste even more of our money on things like this and then increase our council tax rates agin next year.....

Well, it is a Tory council, after all. What do you expect?
Anyway, I thought you meant

You're very right! There is no party monopoly on being useless.
I was hoping to bring a few more of the board regulars out of the woodwork, though.

They're not useless but are all in it for self interest, aggrandizement pertaining to be part of a public service.

emm labour government have yet again done a great job havent they??
country is in a similar situation to last time they came to power.
i think all councils are the same despite their party but would always prefer a tory one to labour!

Why, oh why have a giant expensive SLINKY dumped on a perfectly nice garden spot with trees next to the river. Next to the river, maybe a localized flood will send it to a watery grave, more hundreds of thosands wasted. With any luck that money was resting in an Icelandic bank. <_<

To be fair, the only local authority in Shropshire with money in Iceland was Bridgnorth.
Unlike myself. Oh dear :(
