Take a look at this view of Shrewsbury taken by 12 non photographers. It's not just the pretty bits, although there are plenty of those too.

What a fantastic website and set of photos. Thanks for taking the time to put it all together.

Two things I liked especially

- great compositions for some of the shots - I like the ones in the Quarry and the area around Old St Chad's particularly
- nice to see the everyday non-touristy bits of the suburbs featured. OK, Calcott Lane isn't England's most scenic spot, but it has its moments!

Interesting project, though the maps are not so brilliant.

Agreed about the quality of the maps. Do you know anybody who could contribute a better image?

Wikipedia has some maps which you can use freely as you wish:
