can anyone remember the name of the chinese that used to be by riverside shopping centre.....

you could get takeaway from downstairs and they had a eat in restaurant upstairs. :D

It have a few different names over the years but I definately remember it being called King Sing in the 80's

i was hoping someone from the 70's might remember its name.......we used to call there after a night on the town or tiffanys. :D

I'm not sure of the spelling but think it was called The Chanticleer or something similar back then.

Yep. Round about the late 1960's wasn't it? It later became Mansers Antiques showrooms.

it was called King Sing and was owned by a lovely chap known as Brian who also owned and still does the Lee Sing on Monkmoor Rd, by the police station.
