Did anyone else see the overturned lorry on the A5 today, at the Emstrey island?

Its still there at the moment, original plans where to remove it this morning but it was obviously decided it would cause less disruption if it was done at night.

Quite a sight to see therre have been a few lorries overturning on the A5 at the islands in recent months.

The A5 will be closed between Emstrey Roundabout and Preston Roundabout from 9pm, for approximately two hours.

Whilst the road is closed, traffic will be diverted north to Battlefield Roundabout, along the inner ring road, Meole Brace Roundabout, Dobbies Roundabout and vice versa.

The B4380 Atcham Road will be shut from Atcham to Emstrey Roundabout. Vehicles travelling along this road will be diverted along Berwick Wharf, Sundorne Roundabout and vice versa.
