Some photos taken over the Easter period of things happening about town:

The refurbishment of the old theatre on Shoplatch/Bellstone that was Poundstretcher until recently is nearing completion. There will be shops at the bottom and apartments above (an estate agents has already moved in).





On Bridge Street/Lower Claremont Bank the Morris headquarters building is being extended round the corner (finally). The old school building there has been (re)moved.



The new Sabrina boat thing, moored at Victoria Quay.

I like the restored appearance of the ex theatre/Poundstretcher, even if it currently home to estate agents :angry:

Estate agents have practically taken over Shoplatch, Bellstone, Barker Street and Claremont Hill.

Good photos. Nice to see the Theatre Royal frontage restored. Is it true that the Old Schoolhouse is going to be put back up on another site in the area?

Supposedly, but when I went past there during actual demolition the builders were hacking the thing apart without much care!! :rolleyes:
